Please find below a selection of Frequently Asked Questions that may help buyers before they decide to purchase from our store, to put your mind at ease, and to provide an instant after-sales service in case you have any questions.

"I notice your site has 'Powered by Cubecart' in the top title and footer - will this be in the templates I buy from you?"

This is the standard copyright text in version 4 and version 3 stores that have decided not to purchase the copyright removal key.  It has nothing to do with our skins/templates.  If you have purchased the copyright removal key and entered it into your site's admin, then it will not appear on your front-end live site.  We have not purchased it as we think it is quite clear that are stores are Cubecart stores - and want to make it clear in case there are any doubts!!

"I have bought a Version 4 skin-template from your store and am using it with the Skin Select feature from the Admin in Version 4 set to on - however when I view the store in Mozilla Firefox some of the menus on other templates don't seem to look right, even on the original templates. What is the problem?"

There is no problem with any of the skins - the problem is the SQL query caching from the Admin's General Settings.  Basically, some templates need an extra line of code in the category template file and some don't for layout purposes.  The technical bit -- If you clear the server cache from the Admin rebuild menu option, it will use the extra line code option (or lack of one) in the category file from the template that you have selected as the default in General Settings.  Other skins will take this as the basis, which is not what you want.  The solution is actually quite simple - just set the option in General Settings for SQL Query Caching from 'Yes' to 'No'.

"I am a website developer/designer and I want to purchase your skins and/or mods to use on a site for one of my clients - is this allowed?"

Of course it is!  Our aim is to provide a valuable resource for developers on all current and future projects.  As detailed in the fair use terms, downloaded files can only be used once, on one store - so if you want to re-use a skin or mod that has worked well, it will need to be purchased for each individual store that it is to be added to.  Nothing new in this, we have a fair-use policy as you would expect to protect our work.  All terms and conditions are listed within the zipped download folder you will receive.  Any questions please email a member of our team.

"In the download folder, the site instructions are in Microsoft Word - why is this?"

Unlike some other sites that just offer a plain text file to cover the instructions, we like to offer a little bit of style and ease-of-use, especially to beginners, and we feel the layout of a Word document is popular to most users.  It also helps with revision details and the inbuilt locking feature.  If you have problems to open the file, or would like the instructions in a plan text format, then email our team from your account's email address and quote your order number, and we'll see what we can do.

"Your products are very professional - are you affiliated with Cubecart and Devellion Ltd?"

No, we are not affiliated with Devellion Ltd, the company behind Cubecart.  We have sponsored projects in the past, at our cost, for the benefit of the Cubecart community - eg SecPay payment gateways, but we are a separate enterprise.  Our aim is simply to bring variety to the Cubecart user community, to offer designers a range of original top-quality features to help their store stand out from the crowd.

"I have developed some tried and tested mods that may be of interest to your users, do you have an affiliate scheme for developers?"

Yes, we will be looking into this for the near-future.  All mods developed by external developers will be clearly displayed in the item description, and commission rates will be negotiated on a per-item basis.
